- I focused on UPF post-launch user support and deploying feature updates based on initial critical feedback. Several metrics, particularly the model tracking internal carrier and program allocation, received improvements to account for capacity allocation patterns during high-volume event weeks. I built quality-of-life features to reduce plan review cycle time: automated small-file creation for jurisdiction plans and zip code average daily volume data. Original source files (150MB and 1GB) were too large for external or offline planner tools. I also built Slack integration for pre-signed S3 plan dataset downloads and pipeline execution time tracking.
- With the key deliverable launched, I overhauled my productivity stack. I reworked basics like keyboard shortcuts and TextExpander setup for quicker navigation across multiple AWS accounts, dashboards, and access points (console, SSH, CLI, SDK). For AI tools, I'm migrating from external tools (Claude Code, Cursor) to internal tools (Q CLI, Cline). Q CLI is impressively good, especially with direct MCP integration with Amazon internal tools like Quip, internal Wiki, phone tools, and AWS.
